Because they are already well established, RICE is thrilled to be able to assist them in their logistics management for their offices around South East Asia.
FM Singapore being the hub of SEA, they required us to be able to maintain communications between the SEA offices as a representative and Logistic vendor to ensure smooth deliveries.
Some of our efforts include managing, organising and co-ordinating orders as well as sales. Communication and co-ordination is very important to us as we believe that clear communication and people management is one of the keys for business growth. With inconsistencies in sales or deliveries, it will affect business reputation as well as operations, and in return lead to stagnancy.
We were given the opportunity to travel to the city of Pune, India where FM is based, in order to learn their systems and processing despite not being to the city before. By having a closer look at how they work and their organisational methods, we have gained more insight as to how we could collaborate more efficiently. We also took this trip as a way to experience the culture in India through food experiences or to have a change in scenery as well.
